2nd Annual Retreat a Success!

The 2nd annual Off the Tenure Track retreat, hosted at Temple University, was an incredible success! We had a range of talks and panels discussing everything from best teaching practices during the advent of artificial intelligence to navigating career growth off the tenure track.

This year, we experienced a 76% increase in registrants and a 50% increase in the number of participating institutions. The momentum of this grassroots effort is gaining quickly, and we’re excited to see how this organization continues to grow and foster community throughout the Philly area. We thank the presenters and workshop hosts for their insight and contributions to these incredibly important topics. And, we especially are appreciative of our keynote speaker, Dr. Tracie Addy, who gave us tangible strategies for increasing the impact of this community.

We thank our Retreat Committee for all their hours putting together this event and all our sponsors for making it happen including, Temple’s College of Science and Technology, Temple’s Center for the Advancement of Teaching, Temple’s College of Engineering, Temple’s College of Liberal Arts, and Rutgers New Brunswick’s School of Arts and Sciences.

We are especially excited to announce that our 4th annual retreat will take place at the University of Delaware! Sign up for the newsletter in our footer to get a notice for the save the date!
